In 2019, we founded RUDRA. But the journey started years earlier, spent in offensive security, breaking into critical systems and understanding exactly how infrastructure fails. That experience gave us an intimate understanding of real vulnerabilities, and a growing frustration with what the market offered.

Traditional security vendors were selling products built for yesterday's threats. Enterprise security tools were designed for corporate IT environments, not the operational technology running power grids, maritime fleets, and national infrastructure. The gap between what defenders needed and what the market offered was massive.

We had spent years finding vulnerabilities in critical systems, SCADA networks, maritime navigation systems, industrial control systems. We knew where the real risks were. And we knew that off-the-shelf solutions weren't built to address them.

The breakthrough came from a simple realization: critical infrastructure doesn't need generic security products. It needs purpose-built defense systems that understand the unique constraints, protocols, and threat models of operational environments.

Maritime vessels operate with limited bandwidth and must comply with international maritime regulations. Power grids run on decades-old protocols that can't be easily updated. Defense systems demand air-gapped solutions with zero tolerance for false positives.

Generic security tools fail in these environments because they weren't designed for them. We decided to build products that were.

Every product we build is designed around the actual operational constraints of the environments they protect. Maritime solutions run on satellite bandwidth measured in kilobits. Power grid monitoring works with air-gapped networks and legacy SCADA protocols. Defense systems operate in contested spectrum with zero room for error.

We don't build generic platforms and add features. We solve specific problems with purpose-built technology. That's why our maritime product can run full EDR on 10KB/s satellite links. Why our passive radar works without transmitting a single photon. Why our OT security tools understand Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 61850 natively.

Today, RUDRA products protect over 1,500 vessels at sea, secure gigawatt-scale power generation across multiple continents, and defend critical government infrastructure. We've responded to live breaches of financial systems processing billions in transactions. We've secured oil refineries, maritime fleets, electrical grids, and defense installations.

We're still a small team. Still founder-led. Still building products the same way we started: by understanding the real threats, the real constraints, and building solutions that actually work in the environments that matter most.
